- Criminal Intent - s09e02 - Loyalty (2): When Goren and Eames try to take a murder suspect from FBI custody, it ends in a scuffle and the whole incident gets Goren suspended, but he continues to try and track down illegal arms that might be sold to terrorists. Meanwhile, Nichols and Stevens investigate the murder of Captain Ross. The end scene where G/E say goodbye was a little sad, I mean I felt like they were saying goodbye to us the audience as well. They were the heart of the show.

Why USA Network changed it is unknown, but my theory is they wanted to give the whole show a reboot, with all new characters and dropping all the old ones, so in essence, season 9 is like back to season 1. I'm going to miss G/E, but I'm really enjoying the Nichols/Stevens episodes, they're not the original team and I don't see them as replacing G/E, but they're great characters in their own right.

These are mock DVD covers for season seven. The top one is supposed to be on the outside and the bottom one is supposed to be on the inside.

I just thought what if they combined the first eight seasons of the DVDs into one set? The spine is big because it's supposed to be a box set. I love box sets. If you have the patience, you should wait for box sets of any show, if you're even more patient, wait until the show has run it's course and grab the 'Complete Series'. Mainly it's cheaper, what you'll spend in a complete box set equals to half a season if you bought it separately. recently, I grabbed 'Seinfeld' complete series for $85, if I had bought all nine seasons individually, even at lowest cost $20 per season, it would've amounted to $180. So sometimes it pays to wait. I don't know if they'll ever do that for L&O though, they haven't yet, maybe they're waiting for the show to end and put it in a 'Complete Series' DVD. But I've already started collecting, I love the show too much to wait, no point stopping now :)

OMG! No way!!!! You're right, no way, I just thought it would be fun to make a fake cover if ever some game developer decides to make a PS3 game based on the TV show. So how would it work? I dunno, how about open world of GTA with third person view with the left stick controlling where Goren walks and the right stick controls the camera. You'll walk Goren around and scour the crime scene for clues which will yield multiple leads when combined which you'll follow and may give different endings.

How about also allowing you to play as Goren and Eames at different times to get an insight into both detective's investigative styles, you can even play as Ross and choose to order detectives to follow a certain track and drop others or investigate all of them. Both Goren and Eames will have to choose their questions wisely as well as the tone (just like the PC game), action elements will involve third person shooter controls and QTE events. The main game will have about three episodes featuring Goren and Eames, but Logan and Wheeler episodic content will be released as DLC. Hm, guess I'm not much of a game developer, but it's nice to dream isn't it??? :D.

I think it was 2 or 3 weeks ago, unsatisfied with the CI DVD Box art, Jane ('New York's Finest' blog, access on the left hand side) thumbed her nose at it and created her own Season 5 box art which turned out great. So I thought I'd try my hand at creating one myself for Season 6 DVD...and of course Jane's already created another winner for Season 6 herself...but this is my one. The top is obviously the outside cover and the one at the bottom is supposed to go on the inside with the episode guide, hope you guys like it :)

On a personal note...

Hey all, I got my desktop fixed so I'm back on track. I took it to a computer repair shop and the guy said it was both the PSU and the Mobo, apparently the PSU damage also hurt the Mobo, we even tested a new PSU against my old Mobo to no avail. So he changed the PSU and the Mobo and I'll admit, my comp is now a little inferior to what I had but I can't imagine getting HP to repair it would've been cheap, maybe I should've called HP and see, but too late now.

Anyway, my HP recovery discs are now useless so I have to figure out how to recreate a set of new recovery discs because I like to reformat my PC each year. I thought it would've been a big job, but I've opened the PC and checked out the set up and it doesn't look difficult really, at least the physical side of it. I didn't spend too much, though, and now I'm thinking about upgrading so I've been doing a lot of research on that.

After he had installed everything he had to wipe my HDD because none of the stuff on there could apply to the new board and I think he made a copy of his system and put it on mine because I have windows XP pro instead of home, and there's mp3 on there I've never had. Needless to say when he wiped out my HDD I lost all my pics and stories, important documents. I had all these L&O, SVU and CI caps that I wanted to post as well, I mean full seasons and they're all gone and I couldn't back up my drive because the PC just died, it was unexpected, I tried to turn it on lots of times before taking it in. Sucks man.

Also bought a memory card this week and put it in my laptop, I've been putting up with the frigging thing's lag for too long, I got fed up. It wasn't meant to be my main comp, I bought it because I wanted to do uni work on it and surf the net which is why I chose a Celeron, but at 512MB RAM I have to wonder what genius at HP said 'Oh, let's put Vista in it' because that guy needs to be boiled in oil, it made the thing sooooooo slow, would take ages to do anything and when you're in a bad mood it's all you can do to grab the thing and smash it against a wall and with my desktop busted I had to use it and put up with the lag, I just decided to upgrade the memory and with a little research, I've added 1GB on top of the 512GB and it's working at a decent speed now, and it wasn't as expensive as I'd expected too.

Hey all,

Just wanted to let you know that there'll be no updates for I don't know how long. My desktop is busted, I don't know what happened. This morning I tried to turn it on and it just wouldn't.

I've been busy today so I haven't tried to have a look at it yet but googling the problem, popular opinion has it pegged as either a Power Supply problem to do with the PSU, or - worst case scenario - the motherboard or 'mobo' (I love jargon, don't you?). So yeah, gonna have to test the outlets, open the computer and see if anything is totally wasted on the motherboard, man if it's the mobo, I dunno what I'm gonna do, I know a little about computers but that 'mobo'??? that's uncharted territory for me.

I'm telling ya, when bad things happen, they come in groups. This week already I dropped my laptop (although there doesn't seem to be any damage to it), my desktop died, the fridge might be on the fritz and today I bought the latest import issue of 'Powerstation' to find several pages ripped on the inside. I can't wait to see what happens next (!)

Okay, off to do some more research on this thing, *fingers crossed*, not the mobo, not the mobo, not the.....:)

Hi all,

Two posts ago, I told you that geocities was shutting down later this year, which makes all four of my sites redundant.

Good news is I found a new hosting site and have transferred most of the content onto the new server:

I wanted to transfer 'Sweet Sacrifice' as well, but honestly, I've had trouble committing to that site and my interest with it is lost, so even if I had moved it, wouldn't have done any good...and four sites is too much to handle anyway, without 'Sweet Sacrifice' really cuts the load.

You can find these listed on the right hand side in the 'links' section.

Apologies and some news

Firstly, I apologize for not having updated my site in a month. I've either been too busy or too tired. But things are settling down so I hope to get back on track soon.

Secondly, I read that geocities is shutting down. It's sad, really. Geo taught me a lot about HTML code and building a website. My first site with them, I built in high school, where I amateurishly
reviewed movies and posted up screencaps I'd pulled from other sites. It was simple and not very good, but it was tremendously exciting to build a site and watch it go online for people in the world to see.

During the early years at Uni, I built another site where I could rant in rhyming form...ugh...fine, I was trying to write rap lyrics okay???? They were horrible, but building the site was great to pass the time and again, it was exciting to post it online and have people read it.

I realized that I enjoyed building sites, but I needed to find something I really enjoyed doing it on. So when I got into 'Law & Order', I knew I this was something I would definitely commit too if I built a site on it and I haven't failed in that respect, so 'Ben's Law & order Space' was born. Those who followed it from the beginning could see the amatuerish way I had set the site up, but Geo also taught me about hourly bandwidth and limited server space.

Misslarson's desktops blew my mind away. What she did was amazing. She made me want to create desktops too, so I learnt some a photoshop programs and created 'Memories 2 Ashes' to post them up in. Granted, they're not all as good, but I had fun doing them.

Evanescence's 'The Open Door' got me really into the band and rock goddess Amy Lee, so a site was inevitable: 'Sweet Sacrifice' formerly 'Amy Immortal'

CSI: Miami's Eva La Rue graced my 'Eva After' site as did NCIS's Pauley Perrette.

With Geocities closing later this year, means my sites are going to disappear. So I'm not going to update them anymore, there's no point.

This blog is going to become the interface that links all four sites together as always. It's here that you'll get updates about screencaps and stuff. So refer to here for 'Law & Order', 'Amy Lee', 'Eva La Rue' and wallpaper updates.
